ChartMogul
Connect ChartMogul to Customerscore to sync your subscription and billing analytics (MRR, churn, customer data) into your customer health scoring.
The integration is read-only — Customerscore only reads data from ChartMogul and never writes back to it.
Prerequisites
- A ChartMogul account with your billing data already connected.
- A user role of Staff, Admin, or Owner in ChartMogul (required to create an API key).
- The Admin role in Customerscore (only admins can configure integrations).
How to Connect ChartMogul to Customerscore
Step 1: Create an API Key in ChartMogul
- Log in to ChartMogul.
- Click your profile in the top-right corner and choose View Profile.
- Open the API keys tab.
- Click Add API Key.
- Enter a recognizable Name (e.g.
Customerscore.io). - Set the Access Level to Read-only — Customerscore only needs to read data.
- Click ADD.
- Click the Reveal icon to display the key, then the Copy icon to copy it.
Create a dedicated API key for Customerscore rather than reusing an existing one. This makes it easy to revoke access later without affecting your other integrations.
Keep the key somewhere safe for the next step — you'll paste it into Customerscore.
Step 2: Connect in Customerscore
In Customerscore, go to Settings → Providers (opens in a new tab) and click Connect to ChartMogul. Fill out the form:

When you click Upload credentials, you'll see a confirmation that the credentials were uploaded. Our team then completes the data sync setup on the backend. Once data starts flowing, your ChartMogul imports will appear in Imports overview.
Step 3: Use ChartMogul Data in Properties
After the integration is connected, you can create customer properties sourced from ChartMogul:
- Go to Properties and create or edit a property.
- Set the Data source to ChartMogul.
- Save — the property will be populated from your ChartMogul data on the next sync.
Editing or Disconnecting
To view or remove the connection, reopen the ChartMogul card under Settings → Providers (opens in a new tab):
- The connected token is shown masked (e.g.
abc...xyz) for verification. - Click Disconnect from ChartMogul to remove the integration.
Disconnecting cannot be undone. If you rotate or revoke the API key in ChartMogul, disconnect and reconnect in Customerscore with the new key.
Troubleshooting
- Upload failed / invalid token — Re-check that you copied the full key and that its access level is at least Read-only. Regenerate the key in ChartMogul if needed.
- No data appears — Initial sync is set up manually by our team after you upload credentials. Allow some time for the first import, then check Imports overview.
Security
- Customerscore stores your API key encrypted (AWS Secrets Manager); only a masked preview is ever displayed.
- The integration requests read-only access only.
- You can revoke access at any time from ChartMogul (View Profile → API keys) or by disconnecting in Customerscore.
