Kickscale
Connect Kickscale (opens in a new tab) to Customerscore.io and see meetings with your customers directly on their detail page — including the AI summary and action items Kickscale generates for every call. Meetings are matched to customers automatically by attendee email address and company domain.
You'll need:
- A Kickscale account with the Configurator or Admin role (required to create API keys)
- ADMIN role in Customerscore.io
Step 1 — Get your Kickscale API key and Client ID
- Open Kickscale and go to Settings → Developer → API & Webhooks
- Click Add API Key and copy the key right away — it is shown only once
- Copy your Client ID from the same section
Kickscale API keys are valid for one year — set a reminder to rotate the key before it expires.
Step 2 — Connect in Customerscore.io
- Open Settings → Providers (opens in a new tab) and click Kickscale in the Meetings section
- Paste your API key and Client ID
- Pick the initial sync window — how far back the first sync reaches (30, 90, 180, or 365 days)
- Excluded domains (optional) — comma-separated domains (partners, agencies) that should never be matched to customers
- Click Connect Kickscale
The first sync starts automatically. After that, meetings sync once a day (6:00 in your account's timezone by default — configurable in the integration settings). You can always trigger a manual run with Sync now.
Rotating the API key
Kickscale API keys expire one year after they're created (the integration settings show the estimated expiry date). To rotate the key without losing any synced meetings:
- Create a new API key in Kickscale (Settings → Developer → API & Webhooks)
- In Customerscore.io, open the Kickscale integration and click Update API key
- Paste the new key (the Client ID normally stays the same) and save
Do not use Disconnect to swap keys — disconnecting deletes all synced meetings.
How meetings are matched to customers
Each meeting's participants (including the recording owner) are compared against your customer records, in two tiers:
- Email address — a participant's address equals a customer's (or their contact's) email property
- Company domain — a participant's company domain matches exactly one customer's email or website domain. Shared/freemail domains (gmail.com, outlook.com, …) and ambiguous domains that would match several customers are skipped.
Matched meetings appear in the Meetings tab on the customer detail, with the AI summary, action items, detected topics and a link to the meeting in Kickscale.
Security & data handling
- Read-only usage. The API credentials are only used to read your meetings — Customerscore.io never modifies anything in your Kickscale workspace.
- No transcripts or recordings stored. Customerscore.io stores meeting metadata (title, time, duration, participants), the AI summary, action items and topics. The full transcript and recording stay in Kickscale.
- Unmatched meetings are not stored. Meetings whose participants don't match any of your customers are skipped entirely.
- Revocable at any time. Delete the API key in Kickscale to cut off access. Disconnecting the integration in Customerscore.io deletes all synced meetings from our systems.
Troubleshooting
- "Kickscale rejected the API key" — the key was copied incompletely, revoked, or has expired (keys are valid for one year), or the Client ID doesn't match. Create a fresh key in Kickscale and use Update API key in the integration settings — synced meetings are kept.
- Meetings aren't matching — matching needs customer email or website properties to be filled in. Matching applies on the next daily sync after you fill them in.
